Triple Z third-party logistics helps create seamless warehousing and fulfillment solutions for small businesses.
Jojo Maman Bébé, a U.K.-based boutique known for stylish maternity wear, baby and children’s clothes and related products, has been working with Zulily for three years. After the company was founded in 1993, it operated warehouses in the U.S., which allowed them to ship inventory in, and then out, to U.S. retailers, including Zulily. Finding a solution to overseas warehousing and shipping was imperative to Jojo Maman Bébé to continue to sell on Zulily and build a vibrant business in the U.S.
The Overseas Seller Challenge
Over the years, the Zulily team worked closely with Jojo Maman Bébé to secure inventory ahead of each season, which began to increase overall sales of the company. But in 2020, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Jojo Maman Bébé closed their U.S. warehouse, which meant the company needed a new shipping solution that would enable them to continue selling with Zulily, but from overseas.
Zulily had a solution.
Ship Direct and Produce Early
Through Triple Z, Zulily’s unique warehouse and fulfillment service, the Zulily team worked directly with Jojo Maman Bébé’s routing and operations team to coordinate international shipments and secure products at customs. Through this process, Jojo Maman Bébé became the importer of record. This allowed the company to ship directly to Zulily from their U.K. warehouses, eliminating the need for products to stop at a middle-point warehouse.
Zulily also worked with Jojo Maman Bébé to get product produced earlier in the season, and to ship inventory as early as possible to avoid inevitable custom delays.

As a result of this relationship, Zulily became the primary U.S. retailer for Jojo Maman Bébé, and business has grown significantly since: Jojo Maman Bébé increased revenue by 97% from 2020 to 2021.
“Working directly with Zulily, we can track real-time sales, events and stockholding on their comprehensive portal,” adds Milligan. “Zulily truly understands our core values and ethos at JoJo, which is an integral part of our brand. Being based in the U.K., Zulily is the largest platform for our American customer.”
